2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Linc (736) - Sydney, - JUN 7, 2003
Unremarkable beer, but I have to say somthing. Mild malty, slightly citric, clean finish, ok, is that 75 characters?
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 paultheguru (636) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 24, 2011
Poured into a snifter. Burnt amber color with good clarity. White head that drops rather quickly. Aroma reminds me of sauerkraut. Biscuity, cabbage, some soy, which is odd. Cabbagey flavors reminds me of St. Patrick’s Day dinner, corned beef and cabbage. Dry mouthfeel with a mild carbonation level. It is drinkable, but the cabbage feels weird on my palate. Would be great with some bratwursts. Could it be a tainted bottle? DMS I assume.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ROGUE (1360) - Newark, Delaware, USA - MAR 23, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a light copper color with an off white head that has decent retention. Smells of grainy malts and light caramel with a slight hint of alcohol. Smooth, mild malty taste, with a mild bitterness. Not much flavor from the hops. Medium to light bodied.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jtclockwork (3837) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2010
Yellow straw pour with nice white head. Hops and malt. Better than mass produced pale ales, but average micro. I tend not to like this style very much. Rated 3/19/03

Pours a murky golden orange color. Aromas of citrus hops, caramel malts. Flavor is bitter and hoppy with a touch of pepper/grapefruit with sweet malt.

This was a pretty good straight up pale ale. It has all the typical malts and hops. I remember having this straight off the taps at the brewery itself. It taste so much better there. Too bad they decided to change their ways and retire this one.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 smcolw (426) - Wayland, Massachusetts, USA - APR 10, 2009
Orange amber in color, the egg shell white head dies out within a minute, leaving a thin layer of minute bubbles. Some nice lace on the glass. The aroma is malty (crystal?) with surprisingly little hop. That missing hop really comes through in the flavor and the aftertaste. Thick, almost chewy with a light effervescence. A decent brew...
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Miver (607) - Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2009
12 oz bottle from trade. Poured copper in color with a large frothy beige head. Aroma of grass, hay, light hops and wet grains. Tastes of very mild hops, lightly sweet, earthy, bland and not really that good.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 pantanap (2838) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2008
draft at brewery.....purely transparent medium brown pour with a thick, frothy off white head..... aroma of earthy grassy hops which make it hard to distinguish between the pils and some of the others..... flavors of mild grassy hops with a good supporting malt backbone.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 kosmoken (37) - USA - APR 10, 2008
Has a nice hoppy finsh to it, but nothing overwhelming. Got this at the brewery so it was pretty fresh. Had a nice pour to it, with a medium head.
