This creation is celebration of two juxtaposed worlds colliding – On one side a fledgling craft brewery. On the other a vibrant independent film company with its latest release set on the streets of London. What better way to celebrate this coupling than a complex yet refreshing beer full of depth and flavour. When there’s only a 50 / 50 chance of you not making it past 6am, you better make sure you’re only drinking a worthy beer!
The movie I against I is released on Friday 10th Aug 2012, and you can find out more information about the film here: www.iaithemovie.com

Bottle from my last ever haul at the Mr Lawrence Off Licence Brockley before their venture into the mail order market. Blonde coloured pour with a white head. Vanilla, citrus and wet moss aroma. Mild citrus and herb flavour. Long malt linger. Good bitter finish.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Some lightly grainy, husky malts, bit of grass and corn. Light sweet flavor, lightly dried and toasted pale malts, crisp white bread, some bitter grass, faint pine needles, dry dough. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Crisp finish, a bit of dried out hay, grass, pale malts. Decent bitter kick. Nothing too weighty about the beer, and it is perhaps a touch overcarbonated, but in general it’s a smooth-drinking bevvie.

Cask conditioned at The Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London. Pale Gold with white head. Good sharp, citric notes from the start, light on the palate, crisp pale malt, tangy and quite refreshing. Decent beer.

Handpull at Southampton Arms. Clear gold, small but lasting white head. Simple aroma and taste - heather, honey and dried wildflowers, very light alcohol. Light body, slick, decent cask carbonation and a delicate, slightly acidic finish. A nice drinker.
