With this characterful ale, Wellington bids farewell to the homeless rogue who was always welcome on its street corners. Like the man himself, the grain is lightly smoked. Like the sun he worshipped, it radiates a warming golden glow. For the final and most personal touch, Munich Malt has been added for that unmistakable glimpse of nuts.

Bottle. That nuttiness and smokiness combine well, creating a nuance beer - moreish, and best of all, very sessionable.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear golden with a pillowy head which quickly completely disappears. Very subtle aromas, yeast, honey, hay and nuts. Taste is quite straightforward and a little bland. Mouthfeel is thin and a bit lively. A subtle bitterness in the finish. A bit ordinary.
