Medium tan head. Slightly hazy beautiful amber body with light carbonation. Marzipan, wood, and caramel aroma with smoky roasty notes. Dry-sweetish roasty wooden spicy taste with smoky caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty mealy smoky aftertaste with syrupy wooden herbal notes. Interesting, unusual, different, and quite nice. A bit dense, perhaps. (0.33l bottle, Lørenskog Brusshop, Oslo.)

Smoky malt centred aroma with notes of grains, wood, wet hay, nuts and ash. A light sweetness is apparent. The mouthfeel is creamy and rich with rustic malt flavours and smoke. I found it interesting and appealing!

Bottle from Shoppen, Lørenskog (formerly Lørenskog Brusshop). A hazed copper colored beer, with some beige fisheyes around the rim. Smell of light peppery, light ashy malts. A pleasant fruit tone, too. Taste has a fine, light smokey malt character. Some malt-sweetness, toasted bread, and a mild spicy bitterness underneath. Light in body. Thin, boardering on watery. Smokey endnotes. A nice one. Unusual, but a very welcoming addition to the Norwegian ’grocery store’ market.

Bottle courtesy HenrikSoegaard. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich malt, grain, caramel and hops.

Bottle. Courtesy Nisse666. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy nice aroma. MOderate bitter nice spicey and caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Some metal and woody dry notes. Oily palate.

330ml Bottle (Järnet Matsal & Bar, Stockholm) - Hazy amber in colour. Spicy aroma with marzipan and dried fruit. Fruity, tangy and slightly musty taste with dried fruit, malt and fruit cake. Interesting and rather drinkable.

Bottle. Copper with an off-white porous head leaving some lacing. Aroma: sweet malt, some spices, medwurst, grass. Taste: sweet, svagdricka, light smokiness, dried fruit, perhaps raisins, grass, medwurst, low to medium bitterness. Just below medium-bodied, perhaps a bit flat. Didn’t know what to expect, but not bad.

Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wet dog, candy, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101101]

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some yeasty caramel hints. Sweetish malty and slightly watery flavor with hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild chemical and malty. Smoked and dry malty. Metallic. Infected. Dry malty and metallic. Off.
