Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Earthy resin and caramel aromas. Dry with sourdough and hay upfront turning to mild grapefruit in the lasting finish.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head and quite lively carbonation. Aroma is fruity, nectary and quite resiny as well. Flavour is big time fruity and floral hops along with some tropical fruits and mild soapyness. Feels strong, but still hides the alcohol burn well.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Fruity and phenolic aroma. Medium body, a decent fruitiness and then a shitload of bittering hops. Let me say this only once: throwing a shitload of hops into a beer does not a good beer make. 230213

Pours hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. Nose is a little poopy, some vegetable, light pine. Not a fan of The nose. Like a wet hopped that went to long. Taste is much better but still has an odd bitter aspect. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean, the body is light and the finish is long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Swaroga (1423) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 9, 2013
75cl bottle from the shop owner of La Cave a Bulles in Paris. Hazy golden with medium, snowy white head. Nose : mandarin, pine, citrus zest. Tart with some spices like ginger and pepper. Sip : strong carbonation, creamy texture. Sweet and fruity. Bitter hops dominate the aftertaste but don't destroy neither complexity nor the balance. In fact it's quite a good beer.

Big bottle from cave a Bulles. Hazy orange body with hoppy, citrus nose. Taste is hops, fruits, bitter with pine notes. Quite nice. Finish could be a bit hoppier, but overall a very nice IPA.
