3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Gusler (2654) - Tucson, USA - OCT 26, 2007
The beer pours as clear as you can get, bright gold with a smallish white creamy head that vanishes quite quickly, the lace a sheet that breaks up as fast as the head faded. Nose basically malt, clean, start has a light grain presence, sweet with the top cadaverous. Finish is modest in its acidity, hops extremely mild, sweet and very dry aftertaste, brewed for the environment, and I have certainly consumed worse.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Muggus69 (878) - Newcastle, NSW, AUSTRALIA - NOV 3, 2010
Clear 330mL bottle.
One of those rare occasions I go into a small bottle’o with a modest range looking for a cold beer...something I haven’t tried. And this was it...
Very pale yellow body, pillowy head last suprisingly the whole glass.
There’s really bugger all on the nose. If I had to say anything it’d be DMS, and that’s not a good thing.
Palate is thin, fizzy, very short.
Next to no flavour; some malt sweetness accompanied by that corny DMS and a bit of apple cidery acetaldehyde. Low bitterness.
Certainly not as offensive beer, just bland. I’d say it probably ranks a touch higher than the likes of Corona though!
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 mkel07 (1806) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2009
330ml bottle. Pale, thin and watery with a huge thisk snow white cap. Well carbonated with a horrid malt and hop aroma that is very basic and uninspiring. Flat, dry flavour .
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 marcus (4051) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 19, 2009
This one is so thin you can see right through it like glass. However, there is a lovely white head and an aroma of fresh bread. Not much flavor either. I picked up a glass of water by mistake and couldn’t tell the difference until I noticed there was no slight hop bitterness at the finish.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 bhensonb (7579) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 8, 2009
Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours light gold with a fizzy white head. Amazing! Aromas of bread and grass. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is bready/grainy/corny with a good dose of noble hop. It’s finishing bitter. I might actually finish this beer. Note: I don’t think it’s worse than a Bud Light.

Thanks to ghawener. Another pale ale, watery, refreshing, not much else. Nothing else to say.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 BorksBabe (81) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Not much to the aroma- appears... well... yellow. Apparently a lot of additives to the corn and urine base this stuff came from. This is worse than Bug Light! Palate..... sticky. Overall.. eew. Hold on, I need to go drink a girl beer to wash the taste out of my mouth.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Gomisan (3) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 21, 2008 does not count
A refreshing beer on a hot summer day. This is a worthwhile cheap alternative to the usually overpriced Corona.
