Heh, I didn’t realize this was madeby the infamous City Brewery! Man, this stuff is terrible! Dark golden with no head. Aroma was of corn and a ton of acetaldehyde. Flavor much the same, along with being thin and fizzy. When I had a second one straight out of the bottle, I felt it was just about indistinguishable from bud. Found at a Winn Dixie in Orange Park, FL.

It is pretty horrible. It tastes like a corn field that hasn’t been tended to in 8 years went and had sex with a cardboard box factory.

...well, it’s better than most regular lagers these days. Nothing special, some decent malt notes in there, not too watery.

The total score for this beer is deceiving. The rating system doesn’t allow for an adequate cumulative score. The taste is particularly hard to score because this is almost a tasteless beer. The beer is very basic. It doesn’t have much an aroma or appearance either, but it is very soft and carbonated and very enjoyable. I only started drinking it, but I imagine this is the perfect summer beer. They’re very easy to drink and quite refreshing.

12 oz bottle. pale yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma is weak and indistinct with a hint of slightly overcooked vegetables. Taste is the same, cooked vegetables; celery in particular and a sweet malt base. The palate is thin and watery, with medium carbonation. Finishes short (thankfully). Overall: This Sucks. Wheres the HOPS??

12 oz. bottle pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Practically nothing to smell Aroma is nondescript. At least it doesn’t have the corny aroma of so many cheap pale lagers. Very light, and almost watery but with noticeable carbonation. Goes down smooth with no aftertaste. The best I can say is that I find nothing offensive about it, other than the marketing. Mine was labeled as batch 0073, in an attempt to trick someone into believing that Genessee’s version of Bud Lite might be a craft beer.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. About ¾ inches to an inch of head. Color was a clear golden. A slight lacing with a bit more white film on the sides of the glass on the initial pour. Fairly bland look. Light malt, almost sweet, leads the way on the nose. The malt comes back with a deep sniff, more of a malty corn. Initial taste was a bland, malty corn mix of average. That was about it, hardly an impressive following. Miller Lite comes to mind and I hate Miller Lite. I guess I would call it refreshing, but bland and blah could replace refreshing. High on the carbonation. Corn and Miller Lite kept coming to mind.

Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light mineral and light malt aroma with light grass. Light mineral and light malt flavor. Medium bodied. Light mineral and light malt linger with light spice.

Nothing special, just an average lager. This was a perfectly fine run-of-the-mill beer. Better than mass produced... but, etc. but nothing more. Good for a party/bbq and fairly cheap.

[Bottle] Pours a light shade of yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of cheap malts, cardboard and sweet grass. The taste is of corn syrup, adjuncts, cooked vegetables, heavy oxidation/paper, straw and mild cereal grains. Very thin and watery. Dirty palate to say the least. From start to finish, this beer was very unappealing.

picked up a six pack of this at a package store in West Palm beach. It tasted like bud light and nothing more. In this case, small batch = small flavor. I will not try any of their other offerings.
