COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This India Pale Ale moves from heady hop aromas to a long, clean finish. A spicy hop character is expertly balanced by a soft malt backbone for a complex ale with rich full flavor. Enjoy the ride!

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is mostly the piney hops with some grassiness to it, a bit herbal plenty of caramel malt backbone character. Flavor starts with the piney and caramel balanced with one another gaining a touch of a blah metallic note before a lightly bitter finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not a great IPA by any means but sessionable and an easy drinking into IPA

I had never heard of this one until my next door neighbor unexpectedly gave me a few today from his recent road trip. 12 oz. bottle pours a hazy amber with a white head and very little lacing. Smells like an IPA, but aroma is full of lemons and pine. Tastes too salty for my liking, The malts come out only in the finish, which is also unfortunately metallic and bitter. This the worst IPA I have tried so far, but the price was right.

Anticlimactic 1000th. Aroma is lemon furniture polish, pine sea breeze. Appeaerance is Cloudy yellow, burnished shoulders. Nice active carb, lingering thin sponge. Flavor is salt, clean hopping, neutral refreshment, near crisp dried pine branches prime for kindling.

A very sessionable IPA at a reasonable price, this beer opens with malty aromas and a clean hop note. Sweet caramel malt dominates the body with understated notes of grapefruit citrus, while piney hops creep in on the back of the palate. Finishes with a bit of a metallic aftertaste.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Very light amber, nice fluffy head. Faint hop aroma. Bitter up front and holds through the finish. Some biscuit malt in the background. Hoppiness is primarily pine-y and spicy. Solid overall, nothing special but a good sessionable IPA...

This is an IPA and I guess that is the best thing I can say about it. It is a bitter American ale, somewhat strong but w/ nothing really compelling or attractive about it aside from lack of off flavors. It is not bright and vibrant, it is not light and drinkable. There is nothing wrong w/ it but there is nothing wrong w/ it to the same extent that there is nothing really right w/ it.

12oz bottle 3/4/11 Batch 00073 (Whole Foods Naperville)-54° in Shaker-Pours a clear golden with a nice one finger off white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of hops, malt, and some grass. This medium bodied brew is easy to drink and not too bad.

Pours clear golden with a thick white head and a pine aroma. There is a tasty caramel malt flavor nicely balanced with the hop bitterness.

08-Feb-11 (12-oz bottle: BevMo in Solana Beach, CA) The charade continues with this "small batch" IPA, this being Batch No. 00073. All mockery aside, the IPA isn’t bad. The entry is nicely balanced between gently toasty, slightly nutty, caramely malts and highly floral, spicy, and somewhat grassy hops. The beer has a modest sweetness, and the hoppy bitterness is fairly gentle in the entry, but does build to moderate levels in the long-lasting finish. Sweet, grainy malts and floral and spicy hops in the nose. The palate is medium in body, dry, crisp, moderately carbonated. Sparkling, golden-orange in color with half an inch of white head that settles to a thin layer, but leaves a solid ring of lacing on the glass. More of an English IPA than American, but it’s certainly pleasant and very drinkable. Great for backyard parties where people are casual beer drinkers.

Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. Pours golden amber with a creamy white head. Light cat pee aroma with a little mild roast malt. Med body. Flavor is citrusy hop over caramel. It’s not strongly flavored, but it is rather flavorful. Goes a bit floral, ending more towards ESB.
