COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale ale is brought to the nose with slight citrus aromas and has a complex flavor balanced by a subtle malt character for a smooth, clean and crisp finish.

Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Smells more malty than hoppy. Flavor is pretty light, and it quickly takes on a paper aspect. It is bitter - it has that going for it.

Bottle was labeled "small batch no. 0058", as I guess they all are. Pours an almost clear orange with a tiny head of soapy film. Smells OK and sufficiently hoppy. Aroma is nothing special, just normal hoppy. Tastes sour with a strange, almost metallic aftertaste. Maybe I’d like it more if it was in a cheap generic can that simply said "beer" and didn’t try to fool consumers that it was of even average quality.

Pours a clear orange color with a soapy white head. The aroma is of pine and malt. The flavor is a sour funk taste. The body was somewhat thin with a light but funky aftertaste.Overall just a bad beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Pale malt aroma with some sweetness and very light citrus notes. Flavor is more pale malts with a small, sharp touch of bitter grassy hop, a bit of butterscotch. Drinkable, but not really too much beyond a macro lager.

Anybody else notice your bottle is also tagged No. 00058. Oh, you mean it isn’t REALLY a small batch, it just looks that way because your commercially printed label is made to look that way? Ofercristsake...

12 oz bottle. Darker yellow pour nice white head. Nose is fairly faint grain and hops. Taste is refreshing in a hot day. Will not be confused with some of the larger rated PAs but I enjoyed this.

(12oz bottle thanks to mar) clear pale yellow, lasting film of white soapy bubbles. Nose of rhubarb, fruity pebbles, old grain. Taste of fruity pebbles, rye, stale grain. This is gross.

This stuff was pretty cheap at Whole Foods so I was hoping it’d be pretty good but it’s really just not. It is maybe on the same lines as a lower-tier Sam Adams brew or something like that. It’s a clear golden pale ale w/ no real vibrancy or fruitiness from the hops. There are no real off flavors and it’s rather drinkable aside from the fact that it just sort of tastes like bitter malt water. I definitely don’t hate it but I quite honestly have no desire to drink this again.

Small batch 00058. Pours a clear golden orange color with a very thin filmy white head. Aroma is very light overall with floral and light orange citrus notes from the hops and finishes with a light grainy note. Flavor is mild but fairly well balanced. A light citrus hops flavor with a little flowery citrus works pretty well with the light sweet grainy note and a light honey flavor at the end. Crisp, light body with a sharp carbonation kick. Overall a pretty drinkable pale. Good to see no off flavors and well balanced brew from Cable Car Brewing Co.

12oz bottle 3/3/11 Batch 00058 (Whole Foods Naperville)-52° in Shaker-Pours a clear orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, and malt. Taste of hops, malt, and caramel. This light to medium bodied brew is a nice attempt but lacking.

Courtesy of Mar. Clear dark golden color/ fleeting head. Skunky hop, cat piss aromas. medium bodied. Lightly sweet, nutty pale malt flavors with mild. crisp floral hoppage--decent.
