tlind2 (342), Helsinki, Finland Nov 21, 2008 500 ml can. Starts an opaque beige color, settles to a clear amber. Tightly packed creamy off-white head. Slight hop aroma, smooth malty flavor. Light body, watery mouthfeel. Pity the beer doesn’t taste as good as it looks. tomer (199), Israel Nov 20, 2008 Can, smooth creamy head which lasts and lasts, again thanks to the widget.
clear light copper colour, ;ight barnyard aroma with some oxidised tones. strong bitterness upfront giving way to some fruity notes and traces of honey wax, light soury aftertaste. not really to complex, but quite smooth and satisfying. patricks110 (193), Alberta, Canada Nov 20, 2008 An interesting beer. Reverse cascading beer with a ful 2 inch foay head and a dark amber browny complexion that i hard to describe. My first taste: i found the beer aaing and complex. After this, i found the beer mediocre. Overall, i would drink this again. Adenila (712), Denmark Oct 28, 2008 Clear amber look with a buzzing head and loads if tiny bubbles in the glass. Sweet caramel aroma and grassy hops. The flavor is mainly sweet and smooth with some fruity notes. Decent bitter finish and overall very drinkable. shigadeyo (1500), Southwest Ohio Area, Alabama, USA Oct 21, 2008
Pacific Northwest Vacation 2007

8/24/2007: Caffrey’s Irish Ale has a pale amber color and a creamy off-white head. The light flavor has a toffee quality and is not too bitter. It has a dry mid-palate and is barely sweet. This beer is very smooth, creamy, and mild mannered due to the nitrogen. Although this beer is not great, it is always enjoyable to drink, pairs with most food well, and goes down nicely. I really wish that Caffrey’s was still available in the United States. I miss it!
