1 pint at Waxxy O’Conners in Piccadilly. First off, someone should rate this place - great atmosphere. The beer poured a clear reddish amber with half inch head. The aroma was very slight hops. The taste is extremely smooth followed by a slightly bitter hoppy finish. Good beer, but most likely bias response due to the sick bar I enjoyed it in.

The beer poured a beautiful bronze color with thick lasting head. The aroma was thin and slightly malty, and I suspect, a little oxidized. The flavor was thin yet malty, with hints of caramel and a slight oxidation. The mouthfeel was warm and smooth with a light body and very nice carbonation.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2009 Nitro can 440 ml. Poured amber with orange highlights and a good sized creamy, white head which was fully lasting. Aroma was of caramel malts with some earthy hops, sweet bread, nectarines and light notes of orange citrus. Flavor was of toffee malts with a mild earthy hop bitterness, nectarines, biscuits, bread, light notes of nuts and a dry finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, watery texture and a decent length finish. A superb Bitter to session – possibly my favourite.

From the tap it pours a great dark red with a beautiful creamy had that lasts til the last drop. But is taste just isn’t for me. Tastes like butter and cream not beer. In fact there’s very little beer taste here at all. As far as bitters go, give me Fullers every time over this one eh.
