2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aluminium bottle from Murat Food Centre, Gedling Street, Nottingham. The packaging proudly boasts this is a Premium Irish Ale. Except that it isnít Irish - itís brewed in North Yorkshire. And it isnít all that premium, either - not when itís a misely 3.8 ABV and pours flatter than any beer I have ever known. I suspect this isnít how itís meant to look as it had less head than Charles I. In its defence the aroma isnít bad at all - strong and toasty hops with some sweet syrup notes. Alas, what initial bitterness there is fades quicker than you can say thisisnotanirishbeer and it has a very thin, watery mouthfeel. Not the best fake Irish beer in the world.

Flavours of toffee ,cream, honey , Apple . Itís not shitty ,just blah and soulless . I thought this would be an Irish Ale on the database but itís a bull shit Bitter.

Keg from the Cock Inn, Attleborogh. Golden with a big white head. Awful purty. Smells of chemicals. Not a lot of beer scents in there. Tastes of chemical, metal and grain. Thin body. No personality. I think Iíd almost prefer it if it were actively awful.

Can from Seoul Plaza. Clear golden to amber colour with nice lava effect and a firm smooth head. Unfortunately those are about all the nice things about this beer. The first sip almost made me vomit, end of story. Sterile pasteurised shit.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Caramel, bread and some fruits in the aroma. Amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Overall totally OK, but it has a bit of an unpleasant cardboard like flavor in the finish and is quite boring.

A decent session ale but quite thin without a massive pungent hit. Decent colour. Dark Amber. And cold

A: Deep clear amber color with a small creamy beige head. Thin bubbles and few lacings
S: Sweet caramel malts and hops, basically. Some bready yeasts too
T: Follows the nose. A typical Irish red ale. Sweet and caramel malts, yeasts and hops. Nice bitter end. Not bad
M: Light body. Watery as expected. Low carbonation. High drinkability
O: Quite honest Irish red ale. Typic pub ale
