Legend has it the fishermen of Central America sought the Great Loggerhead Turtle in warm tropical waters. It was tribal belief that this powerful turtle, also known as the "Caguama", symbolized good fortune for the fisherman’s village. It’s our hope that you too will experience the good fortune of the "Caguama". Salud!

Just a nasty, nasty beer...one of the worst I’ve ever had. At least the label is nice and the price was, too. As soon as the cap came off, the aroma was regrettably piss-like. Well, no completely piss-like but too close for my liking. Also, my abused nose detected some perfume-like taint, and I was reminded of the unloved Hite. This must be Hite’s Latino cousin. Colour was sadly a clear, light gold which due to the aroma also came to resemble urine. An exploding large head quickly died away to nothing. Taste was NFG, odd and perfumed. Mouthfeel was that of a weak and watery so-called beer. Aftertaste was non-existent .

oh my! i bought this since i am truly a sucker for a stank azz brew. it seems i may have met my match... clear pale straw yellow with a very short lived white head. the aroma and flavor are of pale malt and side of route 30 freshly killed skunk...ick. this is perhaps the most dank thing i have ever repeatedly drank... syrupy fake texture on a medium body with a sharp acidic mouth feel. wow, i shouldn’t have bought two! 3/3/3/2/4/1.5

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is grainy with not much hop character at all. Corn and some earthy tones come out as well. Not much to the flavor either earthiness and corn mostly with very little hops.

Beer pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly malty and grainy. Flavor is slightly sweet initially but finishes with some bitterness and dry. Not an offensive beer just fairly bland. Suggest you drink it cold with lime on a hot summer day. Chips and salsa also a must.

2009 Bottle - Pours yellow with no head...aroma is lt corn malt, bit of lager skunk?... flavour is the same...sweet and watery with big ass bubbles...at 3.9%, whats the point really? Just drink iced tea, cheaper and better for you...

Fresh lime slices are a MUST when drinking this beer. Otherwise, well, just don’t drink it without a lime.

Whitish yellow, fluffy white foam. Aroma of malt, corn, grass, water. Taste is mild maltiness with a decent grassy finish.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, cardboard, lemons and funky stuff. Light-bodied; Mild taste of malt, a little hops and nothing else. Aftertaste of a little sugar and water. Overall, a bad beer-but what else is expected when you have a clear coloured bottle from El Salvador? I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a ’World 12 Pack’ given to me by JonR888710 on 02-July-2005.
