UPDATED: JAN 14, 2014 Draft. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Medium body with chocolate and malt notes and a slight hop bitterness.-- Much more sweetness both in the aroma and flavor. I prefer the less sweet version.

Tap at the brewery. Pours opaque black with a large, creamy tan head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is roast, chocolate, and coffee malt with prunes, dates and figs with spicy hops. Flavor is dark malt dominant with dark fruits, light hops and bitterness, light smoke and chocolate with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light rye spices. Flavor of sweet chocolate malt up front with roasted and spicy hop notes in the finish. Solid stout. The rye is not super prevalent but overall this is a very tasty stout. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Not much flavor to this stout (relative to other stouts). But it's got great body- not nearly as thick and syrupy as other stouts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft sampled at Magic City Brewfest. Poured deep brown with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma is roasty toasty malt, some milk chocolate, a bit of piney, citrusy hops. Flavor is rich and malty, some chocolate and coffee. The rye gives it a crisp, slightly spiciness. Mild bitterness. Smooth drinking but flavorful.
