3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 albertane (378) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2008
Cask at Doctor Duncan’s, Liverpool. I think this is my favourite of Cains’ beers. It has a nice rounded fruitiness with apricots, berries, citrus and possible just a hint of tropical fruits and some nice sharp hops in the finish. It’s not a knockout, but it’s not bad at all.
