Bottled, Pasteurised. Chestnut coloured with a creamy white head. This came in a fancy sleeve, which probably added to the price. Sweet and yes toffee flavoured beer, cloying perhaps and buttery. Some banana in the finish, better than expected.

Cask hand pull at The Pig. Pale chestnut with a slim cream top. Toffos smell and taste with a sweet, buttery, confectionery character. Still and slick. Sickly, fake-tasting beer without a sniff of bonfire. Thin and poor.

It has a rich aroma although only a subtle toffee flavour, but is easy to drink.

A - toffee.... A - mid brown and hazy with thin head T - roasted sweetness P - mid and creamy O - interesting in a good way
