downender (1611), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Sep 2, 2008 440ml can from ASDA. Very dark brown with reddish undertones. Tight, creamy tan head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of coffee and milk chocolate. Smooth mouth feel, with plenty of roasty flavours, a touch of dark fruit and a slightly bitter finish. A good mild. tarjei (1300), Bryne, Norway Jul 20, 2008 1/2 pint draught at Dispensary pub, Liverpool. Black color, nice beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and dark fruit. Flavor is roasted malt, dark fruit/raisin, coffee and some bitterness. Mild, but very drinkable. Borresteijn (582), Amstelveen, Netherlands Jul 12, 2008 Can @ home. Beautiful black appearance, nice creamy head. Smell is chocolate and roasted malts, so is the taste. Very soft and full in taste. Good stuff! Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England May 31, 2008 Tashi’s house, 28/05/08. 440ml can to round off the evening. A very straightforward, chocolatey mild. The roasted malt gives it an enjoyable biscuity flavour and it has a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel. A very drinkable modern mild. douglas88 (808), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA May 23, 2008 Updated: May 27, 2008440 ml can thanks to Doppelganger. Pours dark black with a awesome thick light-brown head. The aroma is fairly light; roasted malt and light chocolates. The taste is just what is claims to be: a mild ale. Full of roasted malt and caramel, bitter dark chocolate and hops. Awesome. This is not a beer that will blow you away, but it doesn’t claim to be. Easy drinking but tasty, and a awesome mouthfeel. Thanks Casey.
