2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
It’s dark bronze with a creamy head, and after having become a little warmer, the notes appear more clearly. Both aroma and the sweet flavour has notes of malt, fruit and hints of raisin, and the finish is dry with hints of citrus and candy-sugar. Not as interesting as I hoped.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, pasteurised. Copper colour with lasting head. Particularly sweet beer, way too much for me, but with a soft fruity autumnal feel about it. Peach apricot with a hint of grapejuice. Hard going over the full pint, but reasonable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Beer #28 at Spiesy’s. Mid amber colour. A very soft, fruity beer, although I can’t say I picked out the raisins specifically. Not bad, but not spectacular. 500ml pasteurised bottle from Tesco. BBE 31 December 2004.
