A regular winner of awards for quality and flavour, and winner of the silver medal at the International Brewing Industry Awards 2002, this refreshing yet full-bodied bitter is a favourite with beer drinkers everywhere. The rich flavours of premium malt and goldings hops are unmistakable in this well balanced, traditionally brewed bitter.

Pours dark coppery amber with a small, frothy, off-white film head. Aroma is doughy, light caramel, mildly toasted. Highish carbonation, a tad thin and watery. Flavour has caramel, light toasted, grassy notes, mild bitter and quite dry finish. Average.

Can. Aroma of malt and nuts. Golden amber colour with small beige head. Malt flavour with only slight hops bitterness. More bread yjan bitter. Low carbonation. A bit watery.

Can at home. Clear, copper with a creamy off-white head leaving some laces. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, light roasted) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body.

Can. Pours an light amber color with an off white head. Aroma is of hops that are slightly floral, along with some sweet malt. Flavor is basically the same, and has a rather weak and muted taste. Body is light and slightly watery. Overall an ok Bitter but not worth picking up again.

Dåse: rødbrun klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duft af syntetisk engelsk humle. Smagen er kraftig metallisk og al det værste fra engelske bitters. Virkelig ikke en særlig god øl.
