2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Reddish copper with creamy cream head with good retention and no real lacing. Smells like white bread. Not hugely flavorful- kind of neutral with a hint of sour. Faintly sweet finish, a little watery.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Serving: from can--purchased at The Beer Junction.
Aroma: light malt.
Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white initial head with good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, dark-amber body.
Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: light-to-medium body, watery texture and flat carbonation.
Overall: below average. The aroma and appearance were average, but the taste was boring and the palate was the worst I’ve ever experienced--really watery and flat.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cans. Nose sweet and fruity with light mineral and beautiful yeast esters, pours deep mahogany brown with a short tan head. Taste is very sweet, whooa nellie too sweet for a Bitter, and for bitterness it’s lacking, too. sweet and fruity with light ashy caramel, mild and faint hop herbality but no malt complexity - just sugar. Light body, easy-drinking.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Brown with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and bread. The flavor is toffee, bread, caramel and an earthy character I assume is from the hops. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Can): Pours a medium brown with small off-white head. Mild malty aroma, some faint caramel and a touch of grass. Similar in the taste with a surprisingly big roasted malt flavour. Distinctly average.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Maple in color with a lingering froth. Mild aromatics of bitter with a touch of baked malt sugar like cake bread. Soft on the tongue, bitterness up front with a malty character on the brink. The finish is bitter and lingers.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can @ Greg’s house picked up in the Midwest. Pours a bit hazy reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Somewhat buttery, toffee, slightly burnt, earthy aroma. Light, a bit thin, burnt sugar, a touch fruity flavor. Doesn’t taste incredibly fresh.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light to mid brown with some head. Smells of green grapes, caramel, booze, roast malt. Tastes like a watery malt drink. Bitterness is moderate at most. Salty on the tongue which is cool. Cain’s mild was much more enjoyable though.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pleasant surprise. Poured nicely, decent head and appetizing light brown color. Whereas we compliment many big beers for hiding their ABV, here I was impressed the other way, for the low session ABV the beer hid that fact well, delivering decent malt flavor, some mild bitterness, and reasonably rich mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Light toffee malt aroma. Dark amber with small head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly grass/hay flavor. Nice (especially since I was able to get it fresh).

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can and served in my GI Imperial Pint Glass: Pours an okay amber hue with a small fading head and not any lace. The aroma is that of crystal malt, touch of 2-row, touch of Northdown hops, touch of soap and a fair amount of Diacetyl... crystal malt mostly. The taste is far too sweet and buttery even for a English Bitter. The mouthfeel is soft and could have benefited from some creamy nitro bubbles to give it at least a handpull feel. Meh, Blah, below average.
