COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised in kegs and cans (previously pasteurised in bottles too).
Previously known as Cains Traditional Bitter.

A regular winner of awards for quality and flavour, and winner of the silver medal at the International Brewing Industry Awards 2002, this refreshing yet full-bodied bitter is a favourite with beer drinkers everywhere. The rich flavours of premium malt and goldings hops are unmistakable in this well balanced, traditionally brewed bitter.

Pours dark coppery amber with a small, frothy, off-white film head. Aroma is doughy, light caramel, mildly toasted. Highish carbonation, a tad thin and watery. Flavour has caramel, light toasted, grassy notes, mild bitter and quite dry finish. Average.

50cl can from netto blågårdsgade. clear red amber, very smooth large offwhite to light-brownish head. "smooth" sweet malty and bitterhoppy aroma. flavor is caramelly, sweet malty, bitter, hops that taste slighly like metal, "flat" hops.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is med caramel with citrus/floral. Med body, nearly. Flavor is roasty malt with some fruit/floral. Light pitted fruit, but the finish is more bitter and malty. Decent drink.

It’s dark red amber with a dense, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is mild with notes of caramel, malt and light fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, malt, fruit, and the finish is dry. It’s uncomplicated and easy to drink.
