thin, watery, near flavourless beer had it at the brewery tap and even there it was cloudy and near undrinkable little bit of hop little bit of bready malt i keep giving cains a go and the only thing theyre consistant with is dissapointment.poor

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2012 On tap at Doctor Duncan, Liverpool. Amber colour with an off white head. Toffee and fruity aroma. Mild flavour with toffe, hopps and a moderate fruitiness. A bit flat

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet almost without bitterness. Dryish finish. Thin bodied, flat and bland. 291010

A bit different from how I remember it last time I had it. Colour off brown, taste is of cereal and caramel.

Cask.
Nose is a fine woody malt, copper, pours a small long lasting toffee head. Flavour is a lighter malt than the nose, nutty too. Light bodied, well balanced, fine bitterness. Very good.

Cask. Clear amber golden with a creamy off-white head leaving broad curtains of lacework. Sweet buttery nose. Thin and watery, completely flat with light notes of nuts and a massive fustiness. No bitterness. Poor. 200110

Clear orange red coloured with a small off white head.
Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and grass.
Fruity flavour of malts, caramel, hops and grass.
Dry hoppy finish.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan and lacing head. Roasted malt aroma, light fruity. Smooth malty, breadish and fruity. Bitter and overripe fruity finish. Dry and malty lasting impression.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark amber beer with a lazing thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Fruity malty sweetish flavor with hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty fruity caramel finish.
