Bottled 04/09/13. A blonde beer with no head. Sweet and fruity with a bit of toffee. A decent body and even a touch of tropical fruit. Hints of vomit as lagers can have. Not as bad as I feared.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold colour, foam white head and aroma is sweet fruity with some spice. Taste is sweet malt & grain, grassy and a light bitterness. Creamy mouth feel, light bodied, medium carbonation, finish is dry with some residual sweetness. OK.

Yellow with a white head. The aroma is full of very sweet malt with a circus peanut character. The flavor is less sweet, but I still get a lot of grain and sugar notes, as well as some grass. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Serving: Note quite 16 oz. can. Odd serving size it seems. It pours a clear gold color with a decent white head. Fairly normal looking. The nose is on the sweet side with a touch of butterscotch. The flavor is unsurprisingly sweet as well. A little caramel, corn, and grain notes. It almost reminds me of a cream ale in texture and flavor. Not much in the way of bitterness. I suppose I’ve had worse. Take it or leave it.

Golden in color with a tick latherous head that lingers thick and creamy. Strong aromas of rich malt. Full nectar with soft effers. Rich malt flavor with a perky bitterness on the rear. Tastes fresh.

5/6/13. 16oz can from Beaches in Destin. Clear golden pour with a small off-white head that’s gone immediately. Butter, apples, and salty ketchup all over this bad boy with sprinkles of black tea. Ugh. This is awful.

Can from total wine McLean. I’ll resist the easy if this is Cains Finest lager then they need to fuck off to say instead it could be a lot worse. Pours golden with a thin white head. Has a bit of fruitiness on the nose that carries on to the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid.

(440ml dated 8-23-12 thanks to bu11zeye) clear gold with soda like white lasting bubbles. Nose of light grain, raisin. Tastes like a lager, light grain, bit earthy, cream, a good lager (but I don’t really care for them) with light hops on the finish.

Cheap and cheerful. Neither good nor bad pint, a little unremarkable really. Slightly sweet flavour.

Rich honey and toffee nose. Hazy amber, fine floaties, medium head with poor retention. Toffee on the front, more of a sweet grassy hay on the back. Obvious quality British malts. I found this bottle in my car. How it got there is a bit of a mystery to me. It must have been there for months. I expected this to be awful, but I thoroughly enjoed it. Excellent!
