Bottle. Bronze beer with a gently hopped aroma. The flavour is plainly hopped and lightly malty, and the flavour is mildly dry and toffee. Overall an average beer.

50cl bottle from Morrisons - "Limited Edition" label by Peter Blake for Liverpool 2008. Gold with a loose white head; stewed fruit aroma; fruity, sweet and grainy, leaving a slightly oily feeling in the mouth; good bitterness to finish.

Bottle. Clear and gentle. Some would say it lacks flavour but I found it reasonable but certainly not one of their best.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 27, 2007
Dark yellow colored. Nice fruity aroma with banana and sweetness, not very lagerish aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is more lagerish: still nice soft fruits dominate with banana and some honey, mild hoppiness also in aftertaste.

Almost pale amber color, head disappears quite quickly. Aroma is rather grassy, some fruit. Flavor needs some searching... Bitter finish almost comes first, before you can even find the taste. Grassy, quite malty. Tasted this the day after I had my first taste of Ayinger’s Jahrjundert, and was worried that Cains Finest would have it’s proverbial rear end handed to it, but no, it holds it’s ground rather well. Got this from my brother who just happened to visit Liverpool.

bottle from sainsburys, there was a white head on iy but you have to be quick to see it. quite malty on the nose but turns into a grassy taste in the mouth. very dry finish, nothing too spectacular but not bad, for a lager anyway

Bottle. Golden with a small off-white head. Aromas are hoppy, yet soapy and damp with kiwi. Biscuit malts with some pepper. Flavours are light biscuit malts with lots of melon and kiwi. Tastes very damp and grassy - like a cask lager at a wet, humid beer festival on a field in a marquee. Still, I quite liked it.
