Rich honey and toffee nose. Hazy amber, fine floaties, medium head with poor retention. Toffee on the front, more of a sweet grassy hay on the back. Obvious quality British malts. I found this bottle in my car. How it got there is a bit of a mystery to me. It must have been there for months. I expected this to be awful, but I thoroughly enjoed it. Excellent!

Bottle. Clear and gentle. Some would say it lacks flavour but I found it reasonable but certainly not one of their best.

from Amstein - translucid golden colour with a little white foam left; pretty aromatic herbal hoppiness with light peppery notes; quite tasty and medium-bodied, some tart bitterness and a long aromatic herbal finish

Almost pale amber color, head disappears quite quickly. Aroma is rather grassy, some fruit. Flavor needs some searching... Bitter finish almost comes first, before you can even find the taste. Grassy, quite malty. Tasted this the day after I had my first taste of Ayinger’s Jahrjundert, and was worried that Cains Finest would have it’s proverbial rear end handed to it, but no, it holds it’s ground rather well. Got this from my brother who just happened to visit Liverpool.

Slightly sweet malty aroma while the appearance is medium deep golden, close to a Premium Lager. The flavor is heavy on graininess and mildly sweet. Was expecting less than this as far as quality, it was surprisingly good.

sampled at azwine 11/10/11.can. golden yellow with a bubbly white head. peachy aroma... dried apricots, peppery spice, vanilla and papery hops as well. the flavor is the same as the aroma only with an added metallic thing and a bunch of peppery spiciness on the finish. it is crisp, dry and fruity with lots of body for 5%. quite nice. 6/3/6/4/14/3.3

14.9 oz can purchased at Royal in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a slight tangerine orange to it. Egg white head is lasting, coats the glass with nice lace. The aroma is mildly sweet malt grains, a hint of toast and faint grass in the back. The taste is straight forward lightly sweet cereal grain, along with a drying grass to the finish. As it warms, a touch of herbal is added to the sweetness. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation, and the dry finish. Simple, though clean and fresh tasting. Easy drinking beer.
