Fuzzy/opaque amber blonde colour. Some thick fruity undertones to this one. Was n’t looking forward to it after reading reviews, but I did enjoy supping it. Refreshing.

Bottle: Liverpool Lager 2008. Hazy blond colour. Aroma is a little toasty at first but some lighter zestier tones comes through later. Fresh, clean taste with a dry finish.

I thought this was OK. Maybe there is nothing special about it, but I was expecting it to be absolute shit. Was fairly sweet with enough bite to make it interesting, if a touch bland.

Looks and smells exactly like carling, kinda cheapy lagery smelling. Tastes sligthly like carling but less offensive and sweet. alright for a £1.50 pint like.

Draught at Doctor Duncan’s, Liverpool. Looked to be a new standard lager to support the stronger Finest Lager. Golden colour with disappearing white head. Some sickly lager aroma, but not as near as bad as most. Bit metallic/carbonated in mouth, othrwise fine in mouth with a very short finish. Fine if forgettable
