Cask@Akkurat, Stockholm. Ambery brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, malty, caramelly with some slight leathery notes. Flavour is nutty, leathery, earhty and caramelly with some slight wooden and resiny notes.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 Nov 2011) Nutty amber colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with dried fruit and toast. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, nuts, dried fruit and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with balanced sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

Light chestnut (!) amber beer...frothy white head...clear...good lacing.
Very little aroma - bit of malt.
Taste of caramel and a bit of roasted malt....some spicy hop...bit sour
Palate - soft carb, light roast bitter finish with a sour lingering tail..powdery mouthfeel
Hmmm....not one of Cairngorm’s best.

Cask at the Bricklayers Arms, Putney, 24th Nov 2010. Clear amber, line of white head. Very nice nutty flavour. Cheesy too. "Chestnuts and cheddar" was tashi’s suggestion. Nutty nose too. Tasty but a bit waxy in the palate, especially given the low strength. Interesting.

Cask (handpump) @ Cloisters, 26 Brougham St, Edinburgh, Scotland EH3 9JH.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light smoke - meat - plastic. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, meat smoke notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101029]

Cask @ Bon Accord. Amber colour, creamy off-white head. Aroma is soft malty, a bit milky and slightly sour. Flaovur is slight toasted, caramel malts, fruits.

cask at cloisters ... copper ... creamy white head ... soft toffee malt nose ... possible hint of nuts ... caramel toffee dry hop. blah

6th November 2008. Clear dark amber beer. A little malt followed by grapefruit and marmalade. Semi bitter finish. Not too dry but a bitter aftertaste.

Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear festival, London on 2nd December 2009. Amber with a vanishing white head. Sweetish initial caramel malt aroma; dry sharp grapefruit citric hop and notes of dry hazelnut. A dry, increasingly sharp bitter finish. Quite aggressive flavour contrasts.

Cask Stillage from the Outside Marquee at the Prince Of Wales, Foxfield 07/11/2009 Fruity aroma. Copper coloured slightly rich on the palate and fruity with a little dryness in a bitter full malt finish.
