Lovely dark Scottish thick stout. Great chocolate and coffee flavors with a licorice aftertaste. Great with dark meats. Not a session beer. Drink this on a cold winter night in front of an open fire and you can almost taste the Scottish highlands at Aviemore where it?s brewed. Try it with a whisky chaser, such as Bowmore, or some other peaty Islay malt.My favorite beer in the entire world.

Bottled (from Beers of Europe, has at Chris O Pst GBBF Tasting). Deep ruby/black colour, small brown head.. Aroma is caramel, some roasted malts and mild notes of coffee. Flavour is rather sweet dark dry fruits along with some roasted malts, coffee and even mild alcoholiclike sweetness. Rather nice.

Black/red mahogany. Light brown head. medium heavy taste with roasted flavor like chocolate, coffee but also a bit freshness/bitternes from hops. Nice oily feel. Well balanced. Very drinkably with low alcohol.
