Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.

A Scottish stout with a wonderful rich dark colour. A smooth full bodied beer with subtle bitterness giving way to late sweetness and underlying roast barley hints.

Lovely colour, dark with a firm head. Rich roast malt on the nose, and a big malty mouthful, fantastic! Smooth and full flavoured. Standing Order Edinburgh

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2006) Black, thin head. Classic stout aroma - malt, chocolate, dark fruits. Taste follows suit. Chocolatey and spicey. Superb stout, amazing what they can do at 4.4%

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest 07. Black with Ruby hue, tan head. A good black stout that should be copied by other, more famous names. Rich burnt gristy body, plenty of coffee and chicory hints, good roasted finish.
