Mahogany coloured ale with a light tan head. Aroma floral with a roast caramel element. Taste, sweetish, malty, mild but hoppy finish made it pleasant.

2014-07-03. Crisp dark amber body small nice beige head. 3+ Aroma is strongly of the thistle as per the jar from the tour. Flavour is relatively bitter, good amount of herbal spicey thistle and likely some herbal character from the Goldings as well. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Ok. Bottle at Cairngorm brewery, Aviemore

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma sweet malty combined with notes of nuts and some hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts and toffee, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo and Veitafan. Have a dark golden amber colour with a small light tan head. The aroma is dominated by sweet malt, sweet cake, vanilla cookies, anise and a little caramel. The taste is a little more careful with a touch of leather and wood, and a little caramel, spices, hops and anise. Mouth feel is easy and smooth and, has a light bitterness. An interesting and easy to drink beer, and is decent enough.
