Mild scents of spruces, faint hint of dung. Pearl white head, mottled lacings, hazy golden yellow body. Hops and spruces to the tongue, sweetness from the wheat, sour grass, lemon juice. Juicy to palate. Mild bitterness in finish, some bread, lemon. Overall fresh and fruity, a good pal to a dinner, though no standing ovation right now. The 500 ml brown bottle abv3.8% b@Kjeller5 and enjoyed@home.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is dry and hopped with some toffee'ness, and the flavour is dry and bitter with good floral hopness, and toffee. Overall a nice golden ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle bought at Kjeller 5 in Tromsø. Slightly hazy, pale golden body. Solid, frothy white head slowly reduced to a patchy layer. Spotty lacing left down the glassware. Fresh fruity hops on the nose. Lemony hops to the flavour profile together with a bite of semi-sweet malts. Basic dry bitter ending. Thin to medium bodied. Refreshing and easy to quaff. Pleasing (at home 30.11.2013).

Aroma: Grain, grass, slightly floral and just a tad metallic.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Nice lacing.

Taste: Grass and sour citrus. Very dry.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: I’m not sure why this is listed as a Bitter - it’s a Golden Ale. Grassy and sour. Not bad but I wouldn’t want to drink more than one.

Cask at the Woodshed, Coylumbridge. Thin white head with lots of lacing, golden amber body. Great fruity nose of citrus and berries. Malt and hops complement each other well then the bitterness takes over for a lasting aftertaste, biscuitty and crisp. Mouthfeel is thin and no carbonation but this helps to make this beer exceptionally easy to drink.
