A light golden, almost continental lager style beer with a gentle malt flavour. The variety of hops creates a subtle bitterness subsiding to a smooth flavour and aroma. The Cairngorm Mountains stand supreme in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, their vastness and natural unspoilt beauty and abundant wildlife set them aside as some of the finest mountains in Europe.

Its golden, as the name suggests - with a small head. Aromas are soft malts, citrus and spice and butter. Flavours are soft malts with some sweetness. Has a gentle level of hopping so it isn’t very dry or bitter. Nice, though.

50cl, exclusive Scottish brewery, from Bierzwerg Greven, not complex brew, malty and slightly bitter, refreshing, yet balanced, clear, small head, nothing special

unremarkable, definitely a cut above your average lagers with regards to a bold bitter flavour but undistinguishable in my mind.

28 May 2011, bottle. gold. clear w/ steady bubbles. nose is sweet malt and decent bitterness for a british beer. med body and slightly syrupy w/ moderate fizziness. really not a fan of this. oddly treakley flavour for a gold beer. reminds me of innis and gunn. kind of sickly sweet. caramel and syrup. i’m not a fan.
