Commercial Description:
Ratings for the pasteurised bottle only should go here.

A light golden, almost continental lager style beer with a gentle malt flavour. The variety of hops creates a subtle bitterness subsiding to a smooth flavour and aroma. The Cairngorm Mountains stand supreme in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, their vastness and natural unspoilt beauty and abundant wildlife set them aside as some of the finest mountains in Europe.

Moderate summer quencher. Seemed a bit muddy and ill-defined, like a cheap cask wine. Fizzy-looking gold with a shallow, rocky head. Very sweet and fruity aroma - almost sickly in its fructose intensity. Tinned peach juice and cookie dough. Medium bodied and quite oily. IN the mouth, it’s a whole other bag of fruit. Peach juice again, with a squeeze of blackcurrant. Missing a middle before and acidic, quenching finish. Lacks definition. (500ml bottle courtesy of my old man - thanks Pop. BB 28/6/09)

Bottle at YNWA, Kolding. There’s a little hazyness in the beer, but it’s almost clear. Golden color and a minimal white head. Malty and bready nose with a little fruityness in the background. The flavor is much the same, malty and bready with a little fruityness. Not much bitterness detected. Medium body and a long finish. Some bitterness though, but as expected, not much. Would be nice with some more hops in it, as it is now, it’s only yet another refreshing session beer. (080229)

Bottled. A light gold coloured beer with no head. The aroma is cardboardy from the pasteurisation, but does show signs of some pleasant citric notes from the hop. The taste is more or less the same. Some sticky marmalade notes, but short and a bit tinny.

Bottle. Deep golden colour, short lasting head. Arooma of malt and some bitter hops. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has a mild toasty maltiness, bitter hops and caramel. Bitter dry finish.

Bright golden with white head. Weak malty scent. Starts bitter ends (to) sweet. Ok well balanced but not memoryable
