COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised bottle.
A pleasant mahogany coloured best bitter, malt predominating, gives a satisfying fullness of flavour. A glass or two of "Nessie’s Monster Mash" is a must before seeking an audience with the monster. The legendary monster is a source of constant speculation and rumour as he watches from his lair deep in the dark and mysterious depths of majestic Loch Ness.

500ml bottle from Dobbies garden centre, Ashford. Clear chestnut colour with lasting thick beige head. Toffee dry malty aroma. Lots of dry malt on the aroma. Bit dull in the mouth. Some malt. Not much hop presence throughout. OK, if just a little one dimensional.

Maria (10119) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2007
August 07. 2005 by Morag and Donald in Scotland. Mahogany red with a nice head. The aroma is malty, and this is the major note in the flavour too, especially roasted malt. it has notes of caramel, fruit and aroma hops and a light, dry bitter finish. A bit on the thin side.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Amber beer with frothy head. Heavily carbonated beer which was difficult to taste, so left it 30 mins, still carbonated! Some thick toffeish malt tasting overbrewed a little spice but no real character.

courtesy of Allen - clear ruby-brown colour with a little beige foam left; malty nose with decent hoppy tones; notes of prune and nut; light chewy malt profile, medium-bodied and decently bitter; moderate carbonation and with a fair dry bitterness; long malty and hoppy finish - very well-balanced
