COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A pleasant mahogany coloured best bitter, malt predominating, gives a satisfying fullness of flavour. A glass or two of "Nessie’s Monster Mash" is a must before seeking an audience with the monster. The legendary monster is a source of constant speculation and rumour as he watches from his lair deep in the dark and mysterious depths of majestic Loch Ness.

Real ale at the Stein Inn, Isle of Skye. Pours a dark caramel/copper with a thin, bubbly head. Aroma has mild notes of caramel, toffee, roast, and traditional grassy/spicy hops. Taste is balanced. Toffee, caramel, slight roast, and some spicy hops to end. Medium body with a low-medium cask carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a big, dry finish. Overall a really tasty cask. Mild caramel, toffee, roast, slight spicy hops, and a dry finish.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark brown to chestnut. Decent head. Nose - toffee and nuts. Taste - more praline. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish if a little sweet though that is expected from the style. Overall - yep 80 shilling fairly well nailed.
