Commercial Description:
Pasteurised bottle.
A pleasant mahogany coloured best bitter, malt predominating, gives a satisfying fullness of flavour. A glass or two of "Nessie's Monster Mash" is a must before seeking an audience with the monster. The legendary monster is a source of constant speculation and rumour as he watches from his lair deep in the dark and mysterious depths of majestic Loch Ness.

A beer with a nice dark colour and good looking foam. I was not too carzy about the taste of it though. It seemed to lack a little in the finnish and it did not have the full body that one could hope to find in a good ale. While it was not a bad beer I would prefer to drink the porter from the same brewery.

I have the same problem with this beer as I do Stag, it’s not available anywhere except from the brewery direct. A gorgeous dark brown ale with an off white head. The taste is dominated by roasted malts and caramel, very similar to stag, except this has an added hint of smokiness to improve the flavour. Great for any lover of dark Scottish ales.

Dark brown colored bitter. Dominant roasted malt with caramel. Smokey feel. Dry and sweet aftertaste. Low in carbonation.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a deep brown amber with a small creamy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is deep toffee, biscuits and caramel. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, caramel, toffee and a nice hoppiness. Extremely well-rounded.
