Cask @ The Bow, Edinburgh. Deep red-brown. Irish red color with thick head, thankfully not over-sparkled. Nice malt character. Sweet raisin bread and its crust. Soft and clean with a very fresh palate. Bread crust flaking off, lovely flavors.

Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Peterborough BF 2010. A deep brown coloured beer with whitish bubbles for a head. A rich fruity aroma with hints of diacetyl leads to a fruity taste with fruity hops leading to a touch of sweet and sourness. Bizarre complexity and not completely pleasing.

Nice smoky beer, long lingering dry atertaste, some sweetness among the soot as well, balancing the beer.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 24 Nov) Black colour with small beige head. Malty, toasted nose with notes of crowberries, blueberries and dark fruit. Malty, slightly roasted taste with wild berries, chocolate, tobacco, nuts and toffee. Smooth body with a velvety mouthfeel. Very tasty and nice porter.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DanielBrown (2717) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2005
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Red hued, with a shallow white top. Not much in the aroma dept. A strong, sour flavourwhich immediatly impinges itself on the palate and holds through the agressive finish. Not the most appealing Porter though a reasonale hard tinny roast quality. Flavoursome but lacking a certain subtlety.
