Cask at CBI, London on 15th June 2013. Gold with thin white lacing foam. Rich malt, earthy aroma with pungent spiciness. Grass and floral hop meets rich biscuit malt. Citric notes develop and last into tangy finish on a zingy mouthfeel.

AshtonMcCobb (2312) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 8, 2013
On cask @ The Portcullis, Stirling. Pours a cloudy light amber in colour with a nicely proportioned head. The nose is a combination of the oatmeal aromas from the malt and a lemon citrus note from the hops. There’s more of the same on the taste with perhaps something floral going on too.The palate is medium bodied with a lovely creamy texture and a clean finish. Overall, incredibly drinkable.

Cask @ JDW Inverness 071212
Golden amber, clear, thin dense white head, some lacing
Aroma - pale caramel malts
Taste - pale caramel malts, spicy hops, cereal malts, sweet honey malts, some butterscotch
Palate - medium body, oily texture. Finish - fairly dryish, bitterish spicy hop with sweet honey malts
Overall - It isn’t one of my favourites from Cairngorm but it’s not bad...certainly above average

mjs (4438) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2012
(Cask at Black Door, 20121025) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grain, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A bit musty overall impression and the flavour I taste as white bread was not fitting here. Good aroma.

4.5% cold colour with a good head, caramel aroma and smooth caramel taste, good stuff.
