2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Distinctive aroma, but can’t place it maybe liquorice. Coppery in colour inviting. Dry and malty, palate lends itself to a lazy afternoon rather than a session. Pleasant, but already pondering a different beer.

3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a cask on hand at the Inverness airport. Has no aroma to speak of, eery really. Pours with a perfect head, solid as a rock, and a fine brown-copper body. Flavour is a nice sweet malt and hazelnut flavour with a dry finish. Its very tasty and highly sessionable.
