Metalchopz (2198) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 6, 2010
Was bought in Scotland for me. Pours a mildly-hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy-soapy slightly off-white head that has good retention and beautiful lacing. Big hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus (mostly orange but some lemon) and even a little honey. I even smell a some toasted bread in there. Quite a wonderful nose overall. Crisp mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Good grainy malt taste with the hop showing up, but not too bitter, and given this brew a swell dry finish. Flavours are less punchy than its aromas, but that is just fine, making this one a very well-balanced session ale.

Bottle from Aakjærs, Esbjerg. Pours deep golden with a big white head. Citrus flowery aroma, caramel. Taste is medium sweet caramel, fruity and nice citrusy hops towards the end, reminds me of a very weak IPA. Very good beer

TBone (12329) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 26, 2010
Bottled (BZ, BB 06/2011)
Pale golden color, steady white head, some lace. Typical British citrusy-bready-yeasty, resiny nose. Decent body for 4.3% beer, although not really malty. Crisp, refreshing. Citrus, resin, pale malts, long lingering lemony bitterness. Standard middle of the road golden ale.

Lunkie (1392) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 13, 2010
Stale malt ashtray aroma with a good dash of chemicals for good measure. Clear maber colour very poor head and no lacing. Bitter malt hop flavour with sett fruit aftertaste. Very surprising. Flat palate.

angrybeerman (259) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 6, 2010
Golden body with small white head. A bit thin and fizzy, somewhat like champagne. Aroma of hops and fruit. Tasted bitter with notes of citrus, citrus and nuts. A bit sweet in places. Finished bitter with a bit of a kick that defied its strength. I liked this one. It was a bit thin but tasty and well-balanced. One I will get again.

courtesy of Allen - clear dark golden colour with a little white foam left; fairly hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, almonds and butter; rounded palate and medium malt backbone, subtle carbonation, fresh and lively and with a decent bitterness; fruity hoppy finish, quite dry - subtle and very pleasant

Bottle from Sainsburys. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, with citrus, and some malts. Flavour of citric hops. Sharp and highly carbonated. Malty backbone. Can be refreshing, but a bit harsh.
