3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest 07. Yellow gold with white head. There is a touch of honey in a sweetish start, swiftly caught by a lemon hop. Thin on the palate with a sharp tartish, perumed character. Not bad.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tried this last night in Staggs,Musselburgh.I was quite disappointed, lacked body and pretty much any flavour as well, looked good though. I recently had this from the bottle and rated it as follows...8/10 5/5 6/10 3/5 12/20, so I hoped for a good pint on draught. It’s not often I prefer bottled to draught but this is one of those times.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Any first impressions?
-A veil of foam shields the clear pale golden.
-Citrusy hops spruce up the gentle cereals.
-Honeyed cereals are balanced out by the citrusy, herbal hoppiness.
-The silky maltiness and relaxed carbonation form a lean-bodied blond ale.
What if you dig deeper?
-Balance is achieved by the flavor profile.
-It finishes with some cereal sweetness and whispering leafy, floral hops.
-Extremely drinkable, this blond ale didn’t spin my tongue around, but I did enjoy the smooth ride.
On cask at Cloister’s Bar, Edinburgh.

Fumbling for superlatives...one of the most delectable specimens It’s been my pleasure to sample recently. Rarely re-order the same beer of an evening, but had to make an exception for this. Hazy straw settling into clear gold. Creamy white froth. Spicy hops, vanilla, honey, bread. Beautifully balanced ale.
