Cask; Regular.
Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

On cask in Edinburgh. Golden in colour with a light foamy head. Thank god for no sparklers. Aroma is of florally hops, cherios, and perfumy. Taste is of similarly floral with citrus and caramel and pale malts. Goes very nicely with kullen skint? (haddock, cream and potato soup). Not spicy enough fro myself but still pleasant

I have tasted this on draught in Scotland, where I fell in love with it - and from bottle at home, where it lost itís magic... The color is amber and the head is creamy and nice. Itís a refreshing beer with lots of fruit, elder flower and a hint of caramel and quite a bit of citrus. Itís uncomplicated, easy to drink, refreshing and nice.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest 07. Yellow gold with white head. There is a touch of honey in a sweetish start, swiftly caught by a lemon hop. Thin on the palate with a sharp tartish, perumed character. Not bad.

Tried this last night in Staggs,Musselburgh.I was quite disappointed, lacked body and pretty much any flavour as well, looked good though. I recently had this from the bottle and rated it as follows...8/10 5/5 6/10 3/5 12/20, so I hoped for a good pint on draught. Itís not often I prefer bottled to draught but this is one of those times.

Any first impressions?
-A veil of foam shields the clear pale golden.
-Citrusy hops spruce up the gentle cereals.
-Honeyed cereals are balanced out by the citrusy, herbal hoppiness.
-The silky maltiness and relaxed carbonation form a lean-bodied blond ale.

What if you dig deeper?
-Balance is achieved by the flavor profile.
-It finishes with some cereal sweetness and whispering leafy, floral hops.
-Extremely drinkable, this blond ale didnít spin my tongue around, but I did enjoy the smooth ride.

On cask at Cloisterís Bar, Edinburgh.

Dark gold. Hoppy and perfumed in the scnet. Quite a thick beer, with a slightly sticky finish. Honey and floral/perfume aromas. Bitter.

Half pint on gravity served at room temperature and found well kept at The St Albans Beer Festival. Golden body with a low layer of foam. Aroma of citrus and red berries. Moderate fruitiness in taste with hints of strawberries, sweet caramel and malt. Lingering bitter end (27.09.2006).
