Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

Cask at Stoke Beer Festival 2004. Gentle aroma of flowery hops and lemon, ripple of malts wave through the still flowery flavour, biting hop in the finish.

Cask@Red Lion BF, Isleworth, London. Some aromatic hops, some subtle kiwi fruit and lychee, fruity, but quite crisp and short, pretty easy to drink and all that, but felt a bit thin.

Cask at Viper Mill Green Beer Festival. Golden with white head. I did not really notice the elderflower. A pleasant beer but I did not find the masses of hops.

Pale gold colour. It was very difficult to assess the aroma of this beer as there was a barbeque smoking away in the immediate vicinity. Lots of grapefruity citrus in the flavour. Can’t say I noticed the elderflower. Dry, but quite soft, finish. Clean and crisp. All in all, a pretty good quaffing beer - no great complexity, but does the job. Cask (gravity), Red Lion Beer Festival, Isleworth.

Cask conditionned, Old Moot HalL, Nottingham. Another belter of a Scottish beer, light, golden and hoppy, but with good malt flavours and hints of elderflower. extremly quaffable.

Hand pumped at 2004 GBBF. Winner Speciality Beer category at CAMRA 2004, the brewing ingredients including wheat, maize & elderflowers. Pumped a clear pale amber with whitw head. Strong elderflower aroma. The flavour is also elderflower but with a nicely balanced bitterness coming from the American & pale hops. Full mouthfeel with citrus bitter finish.

Gold with a persistant white head. Aromas are grain, kiwi and melon. Flavours are more grain with grapefruit and gooseberry and some saltiness. Has a dry but not bitter finish.

Frothy headed bitter with a lightly hopped aroma and a pale ale like flavour with a fruity finish. Overall a plain refreshing bitter.

[Cask conditioned] Golden coloured. Lovely hoppy aroma with notes of grapes. Fresh, bitter hop flavour.
