Cask; Regular.
Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

Big coarseish offwhite head. Hazy orangey body. Herbal floral aroma with orangey dusty notes. Dry-sweetish dusty floral orangey taste with resiny gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, dusty mouthfeel. Dry floral herbal orangey aftertaste with oily gooseberry notes. Nice, and highly drinkable. (0.568l cask at St. Urho’s Pub, Helsinki.)

This is ok. At station pub in kings heath. You know it... on the A435. Decent flavour, taste etc... if not spectacular.

Cask @ Gallows Bird. Pours a hale yellow with a soapy, white head. Aroma is odd, like a freshly-opened pack of Leaf collectible ice hockey cards. Taste is mild, some biscuity malts, some slight tones of wheat.

Clear golden colour with small white frothy head. Floral fruity moderately bitter hoppy aroma with some wheaty malty softness. Moderate bitterness, wheaty roundness and yeast in flavour. Not balanced. Soft carbonation. Bitterness stays.

Straw colour, clear, white frothy head.
Aroma - floral, bit perfumy, citrus hops, hint of spice.
Taste - flora, aromatic, light sweet malt, citrus hops, hint of tropical fruits.
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium texture. Finish a little dry, like taste but not overpowering.
Overall - A good quaffable golden ale.

First tasted this at the Troon Beer Festival in September 2004. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thick white head. Fresh lemon peel in the strong citric aroma. Thin but refreshing mouthfeel and superb lacing throughout. Pale malt base gives a tart grapefruit flavour with hints of lemon and lime. Bitter hop resins present in the long, dry aftertaste and combine well with the citric malt. Finish is slightly dry with lemon drop sweetness. An excellent summer session blond ale and worth trying.
