Half pint on gravity served at room temperature and found well kept at The St Albans Beer Festival. Golden body with a low layer of foam. Aroma of citrus and red berries. Moderate fruitiness in taste with hints of strawberries, sweet caramel and malt. Lingering bitter end (27.09.2006).

Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 27 Sep 06. Clear golden colour. An extreme fruity aroma. Delicate fruity flavour with hints of orange. A spicy bitter finish. Excellent.

Cask. Light hazy golden colour with a small white head. Malty, light sweet aroma with a hoppy citric fruityness. Hoppy, citric and fruity flavor with a light dry finish.

Fumbling for superlatives...one of the most delectable specimens It’s been my pleasure to sample recently. Rarely re-order the same beer of an evening, but had to make an exception for this. Hazy straw settling into clear gold. Creamy white froth. Spicy hops, vanilla, honey, bread. Beautifully balanced ale.

Cask @ GBBF 2006. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Floral hoppy citrus aroma with some hints of elderflower. Sweet malty fruity citrus flavor with elderflower. Dry fruity slightly bitter finish.

NERAX 2005 Light golden in color with no head. Nice floral hop aroma and mild hop flavor, with minimal malt coming through.Body is thin and carbonation is non existant.

Cask@Northern Bar, Edinburgh.
Pale yellow, creamy off-white head. Sweetish and honeyish hoppy nose. Starts watery and a sweet fruity. Then very good grassy hoppy flavor, which even multiplies in the aftertaste.

I don’t usually like the lighter ales, but I was convinced by the landlord of the Cellar Bar in St Andrews, that I should try. I wasn’t disappointed. Lots of fruity aroma, carried through into the taste, citrusy, got the elderflower too. Very hoppy, lasts well.

NIce flavour, but too bitter to be a blonde perhaps, but it is some times sweet, nice beer in few words, bubbling head.

Clear golden coloured with soem citrus aroma. Pleasant lasting hop finish.
2. Cask Handpump at the Waterhouse, Manchester (JDW) 07/08/2004
Golden coloured hoppy and slightly pale. Some dryness in a creamy bitter finish.
