Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

a sim rate: (on tap at Battersea Beer Festival) Very creamy in aroma and flavour. Very citric. Definitely grapefruit in there (though I read that in the booklet). Almost lavender in the flavour, vanilla, blackcurrant. Extremely dairy aftertaste.

(Cask@Gallows Bird, Espoo) Golden color with a small head. Fruity, mildly buttery aroma with earthy, aromatic hops. Earthy flavor of berries and some diacetyl. Some smooth acidity, too. Light to medium-bodied, low-cabonated palate. A very basic, acidic and neutral brew.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2010 Oct, 2005 Cask. Buttery golden ale with muted and damp hops that become pleasantly dusty as beer dries out in the finish. Diactyl is obvious. [2.5]
Nov, 2007 Medway Beer fest Toffee & caramel & vanilla. Soft and beautiful and very drinkable. [3.9]
July, 2010 Kings Arms, Upnor. Vanilla, butter, lychees, Chardonnay, honey - an attractive pale beer with a good balance of sweet and bitter. Yummy. [4.0]

Cask handpull at Society Rooms JDW Maidstone. Looks ok orangey gold colour and white fluffy head but then I got a smack of diacetyl on the nose and in the mouth. Left it being a buttery citric beer. From other people who have had this I believe that it is better than this normally

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A dark yellow beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is very hoppy and sweet - and so is the flavor, leading to a dry finish. A nice beer.

Armoa is cairngorm written all over it. Hoppy. Taste is floural, caramel, but im gettin buttery too, finishing with a bitter kind of buttered toast taste. Not a fan, though it is a different taste to spice things up a little, just a little to buttery for me.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2005 [draught wetherspoons] aromas are floral hops with some citrus fruit and some buttery toasted notes which were slightly unplesant. body is a little thin, sweet cirtus finish.

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Golden colour, moderate natural carbonation. Lovely INTENSE hoppy aroma - fruits (citrus), honey, flowers. Flavour is extremely pleasant and well balanced with a citrussy hoppiness throughout. One of the best session beers I’ve had.

Light yellow, butter colored beer, with a bit of white head, quickly dissipating to bubbles. Aroma of soft vanilla and lavender. Flavor is "really good and malty for how light it is" or so say my notes. Not much wheat apparency, surprisingly light bodied but not sourish at all. Hints of cream and sugar, soft, tingly carbonation. Great aroma that shows you can have a light, floral aroma without a hugely hoppy flavor. A bit watery, but to be expected I suppose. 7/3/7/3/14

Cask at NERAX on 5/3/07
As others say, I dont pick up on the elderflower, but this is a lovely beer with a wonderful nose full of mandarin oranges (though not that sweet). Just wonderfully unique and how they get that much juicy, but not aggressive hop character in to the nose is beyond me. Clean, as well, but the wheat struggles to keep up the bright, perky nose...
The flavor suffers a bit (I think) from the wheat/corn, and seems a little bit chewy/thick. While it’s still fairly well attenuated and has a good sense of hoppiness, I think this would better work on just a regular blonde ale or bitter malt bill. Good carbonation somewhat ameliorates the problem however. A touch of diacetyl on the finish, perhaps? Still great stuff. 8/3/7/3/14

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Golden beer, hop aroma. Very well executed. Fruity tang - nice orchardy flavours & a tasty hop flavour. Nice freshness.
