Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

Tasting notes from 2003 Harbury beer festival. One of my favorites of the festival. Golden-Orange with then white head. Citrus, floral, and biscuit aroma notes. Citrus, sweet fruit, and balancing hop flavours. Fresh, dry finish.

On gravity at the Bristol Beer Festival 14/3/08. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Grainy malt, citrus and grassy hop aroma. Full mouth feel with plenty of fruit flavour and a long, dry finish. Good.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2008 Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 6th Feb 2008. Light amber appearance. Very fruity aroma with pear and pineapple notes particularly evident. Flavour is likewise very fruity, but with a nice hoppy bitterness at teh finish. Very good beer.
Re-rate at GBBF 08. Slight upward change in scores. A great ale.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2006) Flowery aroma, like a good wheat beer’s fingerprint. Also with some citrus. Very well balanced, good across the board.

Cask @ Warrington Oktoberfest. Blonde coloured ale. Fresh, fruity aroma. Great balance of fruitiness and grains results in a smooth easy drinking beer that has fruit mixed in with the delicate hop flavour.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Pale orange, almost brass colour with brief white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and toffee. Fruity taste with citrus, hints of grapefruit, apricots, toffee and delicate citrussy hops in the finish. Balanced and easy to drink. Tasty session beer.

(cask - Coastguard, St. Margarets Bay) amber with floral hops aroma. Nice flavor of mild hops and malt. I’d call it a bitter myself.

On cask in Edinburgh. Golden in colour with a light foamy head. Thank god for no sparklers. Aroma is of florally hops, cherios, and perfumy. Taste is of similarly floral with citrus and caramel and pale malts. Goes very nicely with kullen skint? (haddock, cream and potato soup). Not spicy enough fro myself but still pleasant

I have tasted this on draught in Scotland, where I fell in love with it - and from bottle at home, where it lost it’s magic... The color is amber and the head is creamy and nice. It’s a refreshing beer with lots of fruit, elder flower and a hint of caramel and quite a bit of citrus. It’s uncomplicated, easy to drink, refreshing and nice.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest 07. Yellow gold with white head. There is a touch of honey in a sweetish start, swiftly caught by a lemon hop. Thin on the palate with a sharp tartish, perumed character. Not bad.
