Smells lovely flowery and sweet malty notes in the back. Light golden with white head. Taste is dissappointing. Aftertaste of dandy lions? Tart and medicinal bitterness. Not a winner in my book.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden colour, with a one finger creamy white head. Not a huge amount in the way of aroma for me. The taste was cereal (cornflake) at first and as it warmed it became much hoppier - it got better as it went on. Fairly average beer - didn’t really do it for me.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
[on cask in Edinburgh]
Slightly sour citrus hops aroma with some citrusy character coming from fermentation and nice caramel and not so nice white glue (elderflower?) accents. Almost clear dark gold under a lacy, white sheet. The flavour is potent and earthy with white glue (elderflower?) that’s slightly offensive up front but yields to a nice blend of flowers and toffee. Notes of lemon and pear and a hint of DMS. Medium body, moderate to low carbonation, lasting sour and bitter finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
17th Feb 2012: Hand pulled pint in The Wrekin, Wellington, Shropshire.
Clear and almost bright golden body with a small but full head of white bubbles that tried to hang around.
Weak nose: some floral hop content, but no malt notes I could find.
The flavours were fruity and floral: again not overly strong and with no malt input I could detect: the high proportion of corn and wheat might have something to do with the lack of maltiness of course.
Pleasant enough, but not what I want from a pint of Ale
