COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong robust deep copper coloured bitter. Aviemore Brewery established 1997 became Cairngorm Brewery in 2001.

Cask Stillage at the Howcroft Inn, Bolton 12/10/2001 Amber mid brown coloured and slightly sweet on the palate. Full hop finish.

Bottle. Cairngorm also still release this under the Aviemore name. A pleasant enough slightly sweet malt accented ale. Nothing special.

(Cask conditioned). Sampled at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival. (Room temperature, low natural carbonation). Copper coloured. A Scottish "heavy" like it should be. Good, but not so very special. Aviemore brewery changed its name in 2001 to Cairngorm brewery. Website: www.cairngormbrewery.co.uk Cairngorm also brew Tomintoul beers.
