Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Gyldenbrun. Krystallklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Syltynn lacing. Aroma som kan minne om røkt torv. Litt søtlig. Smaken det samme. Uvanlig - men bra.

2014-07-03. Crisp golden body nice white head. 3+ Aroma is quite spiced, coriander wheat and mild orange. Flavour is similarly spicey. Mild orange notes and lingering spice in the finish. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Spice is a bit more than my preference. Bottle at Cairngorm brewery, Aviemore

Light amber. Aroma has a little soapiness. Thin, heavy spice but its not distinct. Sweet orange notes emerge late. Basically an Am Wheat with random spiciness.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a deep clear orange body with a small white head. Nose is sweet wheat tones, coriander and hints of hay and wet grass. Taste is wheat, mild bubble gum, moderately bitter herbs and hints of wet grass and citric peel. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation. Not quite a wit, not quite a weizen, but still a pretty decent wheat-based ale.

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, light malts, sugar, something strawberry-like fruityness, hay, grass. Taste is kind of harsh, light malts, sugar, grass, hay, harsh grain, something strawberry-like fruityness. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Horrible!

A clear mid amber orange coloured beer with a thick and lasting white head. A light, wheaty aroma, with hints of spice and citrus fruit. Dry mouthfeel. A dry wheat cereal taste, some bittersweet caramel is followed by the additional flavours, firstly a dry, slightly smokey spice flavour, then a zesty orange flavour comed through. The finish is dry, wheaty and spicy.
