Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours clear golden with a small, frothy off-white head. Aroma has butter, oranges, wheat. Mild carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good bitterness, orange peel, coriander, wheaty dry with a bit og butter in the finish.

Jan 2013 - room temp bottle. Scottish wheat beer. Doesn’t taste much like the wheat beers I’ve had in the past. There must be some barley in this. A bit like Adnams Spindrift - an almost buttery or mild rum flavour with traditional hops. There is some lemon in the aftertaste, though much less so than ’Bobby on the Wheat’. Overall it’s drinkable and inoffensive, but not too exciting.

Scopey (3357) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium. It pours golden amber with a thin white head. The nose is wheat, citrus, elderflower, banana bread, faint spice and earth. The taste is bitter orange peel, wheat, dough, earth, light spice, herbal notes and soap with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. So-so.

Another fairly disappointing British effort at a wheat beer. There is some orange peel, a citric tang, and coriander, but it is thin and mostly bland.

500 ml bottle served cold in a pint tumbler. Orangey brown body, not particular cloudy, off-white head, a citrus aroma. More fruity citrus in the flavour, like a one trick pony. Not a bad beer, just nothing to suggest "Bavarian", "Cloudy", or "Wheat". A disappointment: in the middle of veg prep, I was looking for a nice refreshing Hefeweizen, and I got an average bitter.

Bottle pours a clear amber with a frothy abundant but short-lasting head, fruit-like aroma and a taste of dry tart hedgerow fruits and citrus. Thought provoking but a hint inconclusive perhaps.
