Gentle bitter hop finish. Pretty good. harrisoni (5121), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 10, 2008 Cask gravity at Ealing Beer Festival 2008. Deep russet brown. After being bottled for a day and a half, not in great condition. Some nice toffee and malt. Bit toasty and then some balancing hop on finish. A pretty good premium bitter, plenty of flavour. Bit of plastic maybe, but that could be from the bottle. Decent full fruity malt. berkshire_john (1048), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Jun 16, 2008 Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading.
