UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Cool!, as the Old JOck, but a little softer, very high alcohol. Your tongue ca feel it, and that apple rotten you can sense also. It is like a fruit beer but, of course, it is not.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2010 Cask conditioned - handpump - JDW Northampton. An amber to mid brown coloured beer. The aroma is malty and oaky but a little on the thin side. The taste is fruity and a tad warming. There is maybe a little pear and vanilla hidden in there. An interesting and tasty beer. Score 3.4

One of the few ales that is easily drinkable and is regularly in. Probably the best of the cairngorm beers, malty with slight hoppiness in it. Good for a session. Weatherspoons as usual.
