COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic light bodied session bitter. This light copper coloured beer has a delicate malt flavour and a hint of caramel from the crystal grains. It is bittered with traditional Goldings hop and has a dry slightly spicy finish.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2011 Cask @ The Half Way House, Edinburgh. Caramel malt aroma. Amber brown colour. Smooth, grassy toffee flavour with citrus aftertaste. Interesting & quite good.

[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Copper colour ale that looks like a pint of bitter rather than a winter warmer – tastes like one as well. Biscuity malt, a decent amount of hops to give a bitterness. Not really a winter beer, but as a decent session bitter it does the job, although nothing more [17122010]

On gravity at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/12/10. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of biscuity malts with a touch of citrus. Flavour had more of the same with a decent, bitter finish. Drinkable.

I dont think wetherspoons had kept this beer to well, as it seemed it could have been alot better. Aroma was giving citrus a little spice, biscuity malts. Tase was similar very drinkable little fellow.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Derby Winterfest 07. A copper coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is oaty and has cereal notes. The taste is malty with more cereal. It is quite bitter. A clean refreshing beer.
